Interior design covers many spaces where people live their lives, including homes, offices, shops, hotels, hospitals and public places. You will learn the skills to create spaces that are trendy, functional and economical, and to fill them with the most appropriate furniture and accessories. We teach vital techniques such as drafting, color and three-dimensional composition.
● Interior Design Stream (Environment, Space, Construction)
● Interior Coordination Stream (Coordination, Furniture)
1. Indentify problems and find solutions
Find solutions to problems by critically examining the production process, questioning the meaning of the space and your design.
2. Bring clarity to the design process
Produce persuasive proposals based on thorough research, investigation and field work, which precisely outline the design process and reasoning behind your work.
3. Create objects that respond to the needs of society
Consider the effect of your work on your audience by considering its links to society, to the space and to our five senses.
After graduating from the Interior Specialization, students can work in companies that include design offices, interior design companies, firms in the housing industry, or in furniture manufacturing companies. Your work covers not only the design and proposal process, but also management of the construction process and customer relations. Some students can also draw on their hands-on experience to become freelance designers. Your possible job options will increase if you become a certified interior coordinator or interior designer.
